Keith and Charlie are my favourites rock and rollers. Charlie the direct opposite of Keith, though. You have embraced Keith's serious side...he is very intense, and this is evident here. How you do that, is simply marvellous to behold, as you rarely see him depicted in this manner. That's due to his 'screen' persona, but I feel you have his true personality here, wise and experienced, calm and confident. Again, the colours and tones, the delicacy of how you mix and match, is a joy to see.

I especially like that you noticed in this painting of Keith - the different, rarely shown side of his intriguing personality, I was trying to express. I painted this portrait after reading his fantastic, impressive memoir “Life. Keith Richards”, where he really shows his gentle, wise, soulful, witty and intelligent personality of a great human being and extraordinary talented musician I so admire.
