This artwork is selected for the Space Grant juried art exhibit, organized to celebrate one of nature’s most incredible and rarest event - total solar eclipse, which will occur on Monday morning August 21, 2017, passing directly over the place I live and through Central Oregon on its way across the nation.
The works of art relating to a solar eclipse, rockets, comets, stars, planets, nebulae, meteors, the Milky Way, black holes, space exploration, and anything else that pertains to the solar system will be on display.
The exhibit will take place at the Giustina Gallery, LaSells Stewart Center, Corvallis, Oregon, during July 29th-August 30th, 2017.
Reception date for the exhibit opening is August 11th, 6:30-8:30 PM.

Oregon extraordinary nature is a really great source of inspiration for artists; we were hiking more then 6 hours to reach the glaciers of the Broken Top Mountain to observe this stunning views I used as a base for my painting. It was selected for the juried Space Grant Exhibit which is currently on display at the local gallery.
