Description
This painting is inspired by one of nature’s most incredible and rarest event - total solar eclipse, which will occur on Monday morning August 21, 2017, passing directly over the place I live and through Central Oregon on its way across the nation.
The original painting was selected for the Space Grant juried art exhibit taken place at the Giustina Gallery, LaSells Stewart Center, Corvallis, Oregon, during July 29th-August 30th, 2017.

This is wonderful Tanya. It does what happens in the work of Hans Hoffmann when he put an opaque rectangle of color in the middke of a free abstract. This is more so... the added cirlce wakes up the eye with a shock and then one sees thoh so human rendering of the magical beauties our natural world gives in so many ways . I love your use of color and line...Masterful. lf
