Wow, VIVA - how kind of you to say that in such a passionate way, thank you for your high praise!  But I think the credit for music should  go to Chris Martin and Coldplay whose music I love - it is a huge source of inspiration for many of my paintings. Yes, this painting was among the winning works in Category 13 Expressionism, at the American Art Awards competitions in 2019. it was a great honor for me to be selected as a winner again last year, considering the fact that this is international competition, which is juried by the professional judges from 25 best US galleries. There are 50 categories artists can apply for and 6 best artists in each category are selected for awards. I really appreciate your Magical comment, Marvin! I love Chris Martin and Coldplay music - this is my favorite out of the modern current bands I listen all the time. As a matter of fact we are going to see them in a two weeks again live! Last year- at the Levis Stadium in San Jose- it was really something, incredible bigger then life show, but I guess I would be more happy to see them in more cozy environment like the Moda Center in Portland this year! So looking forward to!

I guess it is my favorite way to paint- untethered, free and loose- I am most happy when I paint without any expectation to achieve a great result or been judged, but just enjoying the moment and having a great time throwing splashes of paint as much as I like and in a way I like.
