As a painted portrait this has so much flow and dynamic.. I appreciate your use of overlays to create transparency with volume. Another artist may have digitally manipulated this to get some of the same effects, but, you have rendered him straight up..As with your striking florls , I appreciate your limited color palette allowing light to simply bounce off of dark, the essence of what a performer is experiencing with spotlights, headlights and stage shadows. Beautifully done Tanya! Now I have to start listening to him.

Chana, this is such a great comment to receive - thank you so much, really appreciate it! As I told you before I sincerely appreciate your critiques and detailed analysis on art works you comment on – it’s always interesting to know how other artist see your creations and interpret, it helps to see different perspective on a subject and extremely inspiring. Regarding to this painting - I would say it’s my favorite out of all works: everything worked out so well with this painting. It came together straight away without any single correction right next day after seeing Robert Plant on a concert live, here in Oregon in July of 2013. He always was my most favorite musician of all times and I never dreamed to be able see him alive and hear this stunning voice singing the best of Led Zeppelin and personal R. Plant music under the starry night in a beautiful mountains setting in a small, open theater and so close to the stage - it was most surreal, blissful experience any Led Zeppelin fan would wish for! By the way, if you are going to get converted to the Golden God music (that’s how he was called in 70s) you have a great, great chance - with the same, awesome band “ Sensational Space Shifters” , I have seen on a concert a year ago, he will release a new album “Lullaby And… The Ceaseless Roar” on September 9th, 2014 http://robertplant.warnerreprise.com/ Here is the link to the single “ Rainbow” from this album, which is already so praised by musical critiques and fans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHGFHbF15SM
