This work is inspired by one of the most famous American rock music icons Axl Rose.
W. Axl Rose is an American singer-songwriter and musician. He is the lead vocalist and only remaining original member of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses. Due to his powerful and wide vocal range and energetic live performances, Rose has been named one of the greatest singers of all time by various media outlets, including Rolling Stone and NME. In 2012, Rose was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Love this piece of yours Tanya! I grew up with the guy Marc Canter who owns Canters Deli in Los Angeles who wrote the book on Guns N' Roses. Adding my like now.

Thank you Marvin-very kind of you, glad you like this painting! I also have some interesting connection with A.Rose: in 90s we were living in Lafayette, IN, where Axl was born and spent his childhood. Guns and Roses were getting famous at that time already and everybody in a town was a big fan of this great band (me included!) and very proud to breath the same air as Axl did -it was cool!
